CONTROL CONSOLE

TACTICAL INTELLIGENCE & STRATEGY
The Control Console looks similar to the computer. It is a compact, built-in control panel/terminal-looking device found in industrial and commercial zones across the map. It's well distributed across a lot of the maps, so it's a container you'll encounter regularly on most runs. The loot pool is lean and consistent: Battery, Speaker Component, Metal Parts, and Plastic Parts. If that looks familiar, it's because the Control Console shares most of its pool with the Computer. The Metal and Plastic Parts are the universal workhorses that feed into almost everything. Speaker components are simply a mid crafting/recycling material, but Batteries can be very useful for crafting Medium Shields. Like the Computer, the Control Console's loot tends to reflect the environment it's in. For example, those in Dam Battlegrounds sector Pattern House will only drop the Battery. Those is the Blue Gate sector Checkpoint also drop Metal Parts and Metal Fragments, making some consoles more valuable than others. Worth keeping that pattern in mind when prioritizing which consoles to hit first on a run. Control Consoles are a reliable passive loot stop — not a destination, but never a waste of time either. The pool is small enough that you always know what you're getting, and the materials are useful across enough crafting recipes that nothing goes to waste. If you're already stopping at Computers during your run, treat Control Consoles the same way. They're part of the same consistent electronic materials loop, just without the Processor upside.
