It's one of the most widely distributed containers in the game, confirmed across nineteen sectors, which means you'll be seeing these on virtually every run regardless of where you go. The loot pool is deliberately narrow and very consistent. Processor, Battery, Speaker Component, Metal Parts, and Plastic Parts. What makes the Computer stand out is, as stated, its reliability, as you always know what you're getting. The pool doesn't have much variance, which makes it easy to factor into a run without second-guessing. Processors are the headline drop, essential for advanced crafting recipes including high-tier Quick Use items. Batteries are essential for Medium Shields. Metal Parts are an essential you never seem to have enough of. The one meaningful variable is the fact that the loot pool is VERY tied to what sector you are in. For example, Computers zones like Blue Gate Village and Buried City Hospital only seem to drop Plastic Parts and Speaker Components, while those in areas like Dam Research Control and Blue Gate Security Wing seem to only drop Battery and Speaker Component. It's worth keeping this in mind when planning runs. If Processors are your priority, make sure to go into sectors where the Computer container actually contains them. Computers are worth looting depending on where you are honestly. You should always be picking up Battery as they are essential for crafting Medium Shields. Also Processors are very useful for certain Quick Use items. However, if its just gonna hold Plastic Parts and Speaker Component, it's not really worth your time since those items are so excessive and bottom tier.
