This is a breach-required container, meaning opening it locks you into a long animation and leaves you fully vulnerable. Trucks are often positioned in open or semi-open environments, so breaching one without clearing the area first can easily get you punished by other players or patrols. The loot pool is focused on mechanical and industrial materials. Common drops include Mechanical Components, Metal Parts, Metal Brackets, Oil, and higher-tier items like Advanced Mechanical Components. These are essential for crafting and upgrading mid-to-late game equipment, particularly anything tied to mechanical systems or industrial progression. In terms of structure, Trucks behave similarly to other vehicle-based loot sources, often yielding a small number of items (typically 1–3) with a consistent focus on mechanical/electrical resources rather than valuables or high-RNG loot. Situationally worth it. Trucks are a strong source of mechanical materials, but the long breach time and exposed positioning make them risky to open casually. They shine most in dedicated material runs or when you specifically need mechanical components for crafting. If you’re in a safe area or already clearing an industrial zone, they’re a solid pickup. Otherwise, they’re easy to skip in favor of faster, safer containers. In some zones, however, like Maintenance Wing, they have strong mechanical item drops. So, they are good to included in mechanical material runs.
