TRASHCAN

TACTICAL INTELLIGENCE & STRATEGY
The Trashcan is one of the most basic residential containers in ARC Raiders, typically found outside residential structures like homes and apartments. Visually, it’s exactly what you’d expect: a small bin or waste container, often tucked into corners or placed alongside environmental clutter. Because of how common and low-profile it is, it becomes part of your “background scanning” rather than something you actively hunt. This is an instant-open container with no breach requirement, meaning it is completely safe and quick to loot. There is no animation lock or exposure window, so it fits naturally into fast movement and room-clearing flow. Just don't get caught with your pants down, hehe. The loot pool is random, residential-leaning, and mid-tier at best. Trashcans primarily contain miscellaneous items and recyclables, including basic crafting materials like Chemicals, Fabric, and Duct Tape, alongside household objects such as Coffee Pots, Frying Pans, Radios, and Thermostats. These items are generally useful for crafting, recycling, or fulfilling niche project requirements, but they rarely provide high-value spikes. There is some upside. Trashcans can occasionally produce quick-use items or useful utility pieces, but they are not known for dropping weapons, blueprints, or high-end loot consistently. Their value comes from quantity and convenience, not rarity. Solid but unexciting. Trashcans are worth looting if they are directly in your path since they are fast, safe, and can provide useful crafting or quest materials. However, they are not worth going out of your way for and should never be prioritized over higher-yield containers.
