MOBILE GENERATOR

TACTICAL INTELLIGENCE & STRATEGY
The Mobile Generator is a rugged, industrial container built into a portable power unit, one that is boxy and housed on wheels. It naturally blends into electrical and maintenance-heavy environments, often found near substations, generator rooms, and industrial infrastructure. Once you recognize its silhouette, it becomes easy to spot in high-tech or power-focused sectors. This is a breach-required container, meaning you are locked into a long opening animation when interacting with it that makes tons of noise. This significantly increases your vulnerability, as you lose mobility and situational awareness while opening it. Like most breachable containers, this creates a real risk-reward decision every time you approach one. The loot pool is focused and utilitarian. The Mobile Generator primarily contains electrical and mechanical materials. Items like Wires, Mechanical Components, Metal Parts, Oil, Rubber Parts, and higher-tier variants such as Advanced Mechanical Components. These are essential for crafting and upgrading mid-to-late game equipment, making the container valuable if you are actively progressing gear. Additionally, loot pools in ARC Raiders are often zone-dependent, meaning the exact value and composition of the contents can shift depending on the sector you are in. For example, in Maintenance Wing of Blue Gate, the container only seems to drop Metal Parts, but in Warehouse of Buried City, the container drops some high-tier mechanical parts like the Rusted Gear and Advanced Mechanical Parts. That said, this is not a universally strong container. The pool lacks high-value sellables, weapons, or exciting RNG spikes. It is consistent, but narrow. This is a conditional loot container. If you need electrical or mechanical materials, it is absolutely worth prioritizing—especially in routes through industrial-heavy zones. However, if you are full, focused on valuables, or trying to move quickly, this is an easy skip. The long breach animation combined with a specialized loot pool makes it inefficient unless you specifically need what it provides. In short: loot with intent, not by habit.
