The Harvest Moss is another harvestable plant node. If you interact with it for a short animation, you'll collect Moss directly. Like Great Mullein, there's no loot variance here. You harvest it, you get Moss. Moss has three distinct use cases, and whether you stop for it depends entirely on which applies to you: Defibrillator crafting. Moss is a required ingredient for crafting Defibrillators, one of the more powerful utility items in the game. If you have the Blueprint and are actively crafting them, Harvest Moss nodes are a priority stop every run. Don't pass them up. Avian Alarm project. Moss is needed as part of the Avian Alarm project. If you're working through that content, stock up whenever you're running through the Dam Battlegrounds sector Hydroponic Dome Complex. Emergency health. harvesting Moss restores a small amount of health on the spot. It's not a substitute for proper healing items, but in a pinch, low health, no bandages, one of these nodes nearby, it's worth the two-second stop. Currently confirmed in the Hydroponic Dome Complex sector of Dam, Harvest Moss nodes are geographically limited compared to Great Mullein, so they're a less consistent find. That makes knowing the spawn locations more valuable. If Defibrillator crafting is part of your progression loop, learn where these are, and hit them every run through. Not essential for everyone, but for the right player at the right progression stage, genuinely useful. Or if you just need them to progress the Avian Alarm project, you know what to do.
