The Electrical Box is a wall-mounted utility box found across a wide range of different sectors. It requires a small breach to open. This is similar compared to other containers that require a small breach to open, like a Car Hood or Control Panel, so expect some overhead. Across many of the sectors, this is one of the more consistently available electrical material sources in the game. The loot pool is entirely electrical and mechanical materials: Advanced Electrical Components, Voltage Converter, Power Rod, Electrical Components, and Wires on the electrical side, with Metal Brackets, Metal Parts, Rubber Pad, Rubber Parts, and Plastic Parts rounding it out. Some things in the loot pool are just generic inventory clutter, but every item in the pool has crafting applications. More importantly, some of the items are high-tier crafting material for high-tier items. The key thing to know is that the tier of electrical materials you pull scales with the sector you're in. Lower-tier zones tend to yield standard Electrical Components and basic materials, while higher-stakes areas are where you're more likely to see Advanced Electrical Components and Voltage Converters appear. If you're specifically farming top-tier electrical mats, prioritise Electrical Boxes in those sectors over ones in general-purpose areas. For example, if you are in need of Advanced Electrical Components, look in the Power Generation Complex of Dam Battlegrounds. Worth breaching on most runs, especially if electrical components are part of your regular crafting loop. The breach is small enough that it doesn't feel like a commitment, and the pool is focused enough that you're rarely disappointed. The various sectors it spawns in means you'll have plenty of opportunities regardless of where you're running. Learn the higher-tier spawn locations and prioritise those when you need the advanced materials.
